Golden Dream Hotel, Nyaung Shwe

The hotel offers large, clean, and comfortable rooms away from the street, with great service and a very good location. The dining experience was nice, and the facilities were well-maintained.

The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of Nyaungshwe, making it easy to access the boat jetty, market, and restaurants. While the rooms were spacious and clean, they felt a bit sterile in terms of decor. The staff provided excellent service, especially assisting with organizing trips and taxis at a reasonable cost.

The hotel rooms were huge, clearer than my place, and the staff was super helpful arranging day activities and taking care of laundry for a reasonable price. The lovely balcony provided a great spot to unwind at night, and the early check-in after a night bus was a nice touch by the friendly staff.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were huge with a long balcony letting in lots of natural light, although not very charming looking. The rooms had good baths, excellent air conditioning, and the Wi-Fi worked amazingly all the time. I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room, with a decent breakfast, hot shower, and lobby WiFi, was lovely and spacious with a little balcony overlooking Nyaung Shwe. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the shower was always hot. The TV even had about 3 English channels, which was a nice treat. However, the room felt a bit too 'sterile' in terms of its furnishings.

I was delighted with my stay at this hotel. The staff were super friendly and even organized an amazing day trip on a boat for me on the Inle Lake. The room I got was overlooking the monastery next door, near the terrace, and they even upgraded me to a family suite at 5am which was very kind of them.

Although a bit dusty upon check-in, overall, the rooms provide everything you need. The service was very helpful and friendly with staff always having a smile on their faces. The location is perfect, walking distance to various amenities and tourist attractions. The dining options were tasty, especially the crepe pancakes, and the facilities are top-notch.
